Thinking of You

Hi Everyone! We had a big celebration Yesterday in Estonia. Our country is now 99 years old. But this is not the reason why I'm writing Today. I am here to share simple card made with Sparkle N Sprinkle new Rory's Lucky Clover Stamp Set #837.
Image is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and it's colored with Promarkers. I used a pierced label die to cut it out. Stone is covered with Grey Mist Nuvo Jewel DropsMatting layer is cut with scissors. I added Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen to the edges and covered the glue with Denim Microfine Glitter.

Sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and it is heat embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. A heart on the sentiment is covered with Rose Water Nuvo Jewel Drops.

Background paper is from Pansies Digital bundle #826-833. I printed it out and die cut with Pierced Rectangle die. To add some more interest I stamped the flowers from Pansies Stamp Set #826 with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder. To bring gold to the background I sprinkled Super Thick Gold Embossing Powder to the paper and heated with heat tool from underneath.

I didn't want any big embellishments to this card. So I just added some Dazzling Blue Nuvo Glitter Drops.

Deligtful Day

Today I want to share a card I made with Sparkle N Sprinkle rubber and digi stamps: Pansies Stamp Set #826 and Pansies Digital bundle #826-833.
This Pansies Digital bundle is a must have. You'll get lots of beautiful images and you can choose to you want to color them your self or take an advantage of pre-colored images. I used pre-colored ones. Ignore the pore quality of the print - it's my printer, not the images.
I printed three copies of teacup pansies. One of them was die cut with pierced label die. Teacup was 'colored' with Versamarker pen and it was heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. Flowers was fussy cut and adhered with foam tape. I also added some sparkle to the flowers with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen and Tyrian Glitter.

Sentiment is from Pansies and it's stamped with Versamark ink to the pattern paper from Pansies Digital bundle. Sentiment is heat embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. To highlight some words I traced around them with White Gel Pen. To the top edge of the pattern paper I adhered a strip of 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. Tape is covered with Margarita Microfine Glitter. Underneath it is attached a decorative border cut with die from Creative Expressions Trellis Edger set.
Front of the small step on my stepper card is covered with pansies strip from Pansies Digital bundle. Originally it has for flowers on it but I merged two of the strips together to make it longer. I printed two copies of it. From one I fussy cut all the flowers and adhered them on top of the second copy with foam tape. Just like with the teacup image I added sparkle to the flowers with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen and Tyrian Glitter. Background and the centers of the pansies are colored with paintbrush and Mother of Pearl Nuvo Embellishment Mousse.

I also placed some Key Lime and Pale Perwinkle Nuvo Jewel Drops all over the card.

Purr-fect Friend

On Today's Sparkle N Sprinkle card I didn't use any stamping. This card is made with digis only. I used  Sitting Pretty Kitty 835 Digital stamp set.

Image is printed out and colored with Promarkers. Background is inked with Distress Ink (Broken China). To the butterfly and flower centers I added Nuvo Glitter Drops (Honey Gold). Frame is made with stitched circles dies. While dies was in place I added glue with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen to the paper which was shown between the dies. Then I removed the dies, cleaned them and let the glue dry on the paper. Nuvo glue dries tacky. Tacky glue is covered with Nuvo Gilding Flakes (Sunkissed Copper). Frame is popped up with foam tape.

Sentiment is from same digital stamp set. I used stitched rectangle die to cut it out. I used Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen to cover part of the sentiment with glue. After glue was dried tacky I adhered Nuvo Gilding Flakes (Sunkissed Copper) on top.

I found some leaves, made with Spellbinders Sprigs die, from my left-overs basket. They were perfect to add some interest and color to the card. Berries was made with Nuvo Glitter Drops (Honey Gold). Because the suffice was uneven I didn't add Glitter Drops directly to the sprigs. I added the drops to the backing of a Adhesive Sheet. After they were dry, I added Honey Gold Drops to their places.

The thing I love most on my card is its background. It feels as soft as it looks on the photo. I adhered a piece of Super Adhesive Sheet to the cardstock and used x-acto knife to cut different width diagonal strips to the protective layer. I peeled off protective layer from narrowest strips and covered them with Sunkissed Copper Gilding Flakes. Next I peeled off some more strips and adhered Cherry Sparkle Flock. Lastly I covered rest of the background with Cloud Nine Microfine Glitter.

For the matting layers I covered edges of cardstocks with Medium tip Nuvo Glue Pen. After glue was dried tacky I adhered Sunkissed Copper Gilding Flakes on top.
Take a look at Demo Donna's video "Guide to gilding Flakes" if you need some tips how to use this awesome product.

I used Digi Version of Luck of the Irish Enchantress - St. Patrick's Day stamp set as a main image. Cool thing about SNS digis is that beside the line art they also come a with a pre-colored image.  This time I went an easier way and decided to use colored image. After I used a Spellbinders Oval die to cut it out, I inked the edges with Salty Ocean Distress ink. With Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen I added some Lemonade and Lady Luck glitters to the image.
You can't see it on the photo very well, but I added Mother of Pearl Nuvo Embellishment Mousse with small paint brush to the coins. In real life they shine really nicely.
Matting layer is cut with Spellbinders die (Labels eighteen), covered with Large Nuvo Glue Pen and Lady Luck glitter.

I made my own sparkling ribbon by covering both sides of the strip of 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape with Lady Luck glitter. This ribbon acts as a pull to reveal the ...

... hidden sentiment. Sentiment is from Luck of the Irish Enchantress - St. Patrick's Day rubber set. It is stamped with Versamark ink and it is heat embossed with Irish Spring Embossing Powder.  I love the size of this sentiment. I used Spellbinders die (Floral Ovals) to cut it out. On top of it I attached same die cut shape with a green brad. To make the brad match with my card, I covered it with Emerald City Nuvo Glitter Drops.

The clovers are from digital stamp set. I printed them in three different sizes. They are colored with Promarkers. With Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen I added Lady Luck glitter to them. Also a dot of Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops was added to the center.

To add some shine to the background too I added a Nuvo Embellishment Mousse (Mother of Pearl) with Mini Blender Brush. Edges of the matting layer are covered with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Lady Luck glitter.

To finish off the card I used small scrap pieces of Sticker Paper and die cutted little butterflies with Cheery Lynn Designs Mini Dimensional Butterflies dies. They are covered with Lemonade  Glitter. I also added small dots of Emerald City Nuvo Glitter Drops to their bodies.

The next stop on our blog hop is Jess. She has a real beauty to share with you.

Right Beside You

Today I want to share with you a card made with beautiful silhouette stamps. Right Beside You Stamp Set was released by Sparkle N Sprinkle in the beginning of January. It comes as a rubber set and digital set

Although I love digi stamps, I decided to use rubber stamps instead. Tree and swing was stamped with Versamark ink to a white cardstock. I covered stamping with Black Magic Embossing Powder and heat set it. This EP has glitter in it. Love the result it gives.
Then I made masks from scrap piece of paper and inked the background with Distress Inks. For the sky I used Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick, Seedless Preserves, Dusty Concord and Blueprint Sketch. Hills/forest are inked with Pine Needles and Peeled Paint. And for the grass I used Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn.

Sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I stamped it with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder.

Stamped image is matted to the layer I edged with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Black Suede Microfine Glitter. Layer underneath it is die cut with Spellbinders Postage Stamp cut out of white cardstock. I inked it with Tea Dye Distress Ink. Bottom Layer is edged with 3/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and Blue Jewel Glitter.

I didn't want to add any fancy embellishment to this card. I just added drops of Dimensional Glue to three corners of the image and covered the glue with Blue Jewel glitter. To pull some purple from the image to the background, I made my own glitter ribbon. For that I took pieces of 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. I covered them on both sides with Orchid Glitter.

Materials used:
Stamp CreditsRight Beside You 812;
GlittersBlue Jewel (G1113), Orchid (G1097), Black Suede (GM2009);
Embossing PowdersBlack Magic (EP255), White Detail (EP298);

Cute Chick

Today I want to share with you a sparkling Spring card. Sparkle N Sprinkle revealed an adorable Easter stamp set named  Easter Chicky 820. It is also perfect for a baby cards.

I used a digital version from the same stamp set. I placed a shell and a flower to the chicky's head It's much easier with digi stamps. After printing the image I colored t with Promarkers. Egg shell is covered with Dimensional Glue. It dries clear and shiny. To flowers centers I added Daisy  Microfine Glitter with Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen.
For the matting layer I adhered 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to a piece of cardstock and used a Spellbinders die (Labels Eighteen) to die cut the shape. Same die was also used as a template to cut out the image. I traced the inner edge of the die with pencil around the Chicky and cut it out with scissors. This was adhered in center of the die cut label and rest of the tape was covered with Denim Microfine Glitter.

Sentiment is also from same digital stamp set. It is cut out with MemoryBox Pastry Labels die. With Small tip Nuvo Glue Pen I drew a frame around the sentiment and covered the glitter with Denim Microfine Glitter.  Flower is covered with Purple Rain Microfine Glitter.

Most fun and time consuming was the background. I covered piece of thicker cardstock with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape. Then I took MemoryBox Sylvan Corner die and run everything through the die cutting machine. Because I used thicker cardstock the die only cut the protective layer of the tape. This was what I wanted. Now I took an x-acto knife and did some more cutting. First I peeled off protective layer from all the parts I wanted to be green and covered revealed tape with Luau Green Microfine Glitter. Branches was covered with Bronze Splendor Glitter. For the butterflies I used Purple Rain and Daisy Microfine Glitters. Edge is covered with Denim and rest of the background with Cloud Nine Denim Microfine Glitter.

Couple more butterflies, covered with Daisy Microfine Glitter,  was added to the card.

Materials used:
Stamp CreditsEaster Chicky 820 digital version;
GlittersLuau Green (GM2004), Bronze Splendor (G1012), Purple Rain (GM2020), Denim (GM2033), Cloud Nine (GM2000), Daisy (GM2019);
Dies: Spellbinders (Labels Eighteen), MemoryBox (Pastry Labels, Sylvan Corner);
Coloring Medium: Promarkers;

Cattelya Friendship

Today I want to share a card made with new Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp set named Cattelya Friendship 818.

This time I only used one of the sentiment. It is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I used stitched circle die to cut it out.
Layer behind it is made with piece of cardstock covered with 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape (SAT11). I die cut it using a Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die. After adhering the sentiment layer on top I covered rest of the tape with Cabernet (GM2034) Microfine Glitter.

Flowers are die cut with Spellbinders dies from Rose Creations set. They are cut out of white paper and inked with Fired Brick Distress ink. Small rose inside of the largest flower is die cut with Cheery Lynn Design die (Medium Rose) out of red paper. I put a glue in the middle of small rose and added Super Thick White Embossing Powder inside. This wasn't heat set with a heat gun. This way it looks like a flower stamen.
I used Sticker Paper (99558) to die cut some leaves with Creative Expressions die (Faux Quilled Leaves). They are covered with Luau Green (GM2004) Microfine Glitter. This is stunning color but it was too bright for my vintage looking card. So I took a Flexmarker (Nutmeg) and some color to the leaves. I also used a Spellbinders Foliage die to cut more leaves out of vellum.

Little butterfly is die cut with Cheery Lynn Design die (Mini Dimensional Butterflies) out of Sticker Paper (99558). It is covered with Cabernet (GM2034) Microfine Glitter.

I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops (Chocolate Fondue) to the flower centers and butterflies.

Butterfly border is die cut out of Sticker Paper (99558) with Joy!Crafts die (Butterfly Edge). It is also covered with Cabernet (GM2034) Microfine Glitter. I added a piece of lace to hide bottom part of the die cut.

For the background I used old pattern paper by Prima (Fairy Belle). It is die cut with Spellbinders die (Pierced Rectangles). Edges are inked with Tea Dye Distress ink. I sprinkled some Super Thick Gold (EP235) Embossing Powder to the paper and heat embossed from underneath. This avoids the powder to fly off.

Take a closer look at the entire Cattelya Friendship 818. It comes with three beautiful sentiments and gorgeous flower image. It is also available as digital set.

Materials used:
Stamp CreditsCattelya Friendship 818;
