Friendship Rose - Sparkle N Sprinkle

I had lots of fun to play with new Sparkle and Sprinkle Roses stamp set #784.

I started by making masks. For that I stamped the rose two times to the sticky notes paper and fussy cut them out. Then I took white cardstock panel, which was die cutted with Spellbinders Pierced Rectangles die, and stamped the rose with
Versamark ink. I heat embossed it with White Detail EP. I placed the mask on top of rose and repeated those steps two more times. Entire panel was colored with  Distress Inks. On flowers I used Worn Lipstick. Leaves and background are inked with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. I added some water drops, let them sink to the paper a bit and then dried them with paper towel. This removed some color and added fun texture.

Sentiment is stamped with
Versamark ink to the vellum. It is heat embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder.

I sprinkled some Super Thick Gold EP to the pattern paper and melted it from underneath the paper with the heat tool. To decorate my card I cut Want 2 Scrap Chickenwire chipboard in pieces, covered them with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Detail EP

To add some more interest to the background I scrolled up one corner of the pattern paper and inked the card base with Mowed Lawn
Distress Ink

This pattern paper was originally with yellow dots. It didn't suit my needs so I took white gel pen and colored all the dots white. I also added few pearls made with
Pearl White Nuvo Crystal Drops

Materials used:
Stamp Credits: Roses #784;
Embossing Powders: White Detail (EP298), Gold Detail (EP168), Super Thick Gold (EP235);
Inks: Versamark, Distress Ink (Worn Lipstick, Mowed Lawn, Twisted Citron);

Rose - Sparkle N Sprinkle

Here is one more card I made with new Sparkle N Sprinkle stamp set called Roses #784.

I stamped one of the roses from the set to the white cardstock with the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with Promarkers. The sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with
Mulberry Embossing Powder.
I used die from Spellbinders Labels Eighteen set to die cut the the image layer. Then I adhered it on top of the Sticker Paper and cut slightly larger shape with scissors. Rest of the sticky was covered with Golden Wheat glitter. I repeated same step one more time but covered the sticky with Hyacinth glitter.

Bottom part of the background layer is made out of 2 1/2" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and glitter. I adhered the tape to the white cardstock and used x-acto knife to cut the top layer of the tape to 5 mm strips. I removed every other strip of the protective layer from the tape and covered the tape with Hyacinth Glitter. Then I removed rest of the protective sheets and added Golden Wheat glitter to the tape.

This ribbon flower is so easy to make thanks to Mon Ami Pull Ribbon. I used Gold/Gold 1,5". In center of the flower I added a 1/2" Glue Dots which was covered with Hyacinth Glitter.

Top part of the background is very simple. I just took a piece of white cardstock and dry embossed it between the Sizzix embossing folder named Lattice. To sparkle up the matting layer I adhered 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape to the edges of the cardstock and covered the tape with Hyacinth Glitter. Littlee pearls was made with Pearl White Nuvo Crystal Drops. I covered the pearls with Mulberry EP and after the pearls was dried I melted the embossing powder with heat tool.

Celebrate - Sparkle N Sprinkle

Today I want to share a simple circle step card I made for a Sparkle N Sprinkle with their new stamp set  Wild Rose #785

As said, I used Wild Rose stamp set #785 as a focal image. It is stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with alcohol base markers.  Image is cut out with Spellbinders circle die. Sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Mulberry Embossing Powder. I draw all around the letters with White Gel Pen to make the sentiment pop out a bit better.
Matting layer is cut out from Sticker Paper with Tonic Trellis Circles die. I also trimmed it with scissors to make it into the shape I wanted. Sticker Paper is covered with Orchid Rose Glitter.

Little butterflies are die cut with Mini Dimensional Butterflies dies by Cheery Lynn Designs. Te are cut out from Sticker Paper and covered with Daisy Glitter. To the center of butterflies I added White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Card base and green pattern paper are die cut with Trellis Circles dies by Tonic. I smudged Versamark ink randomly over pattern paper, added Sparkle EP on top and heat embossed. After card base was scored  and folded I cut the pattern paper in pieces and adhered to the base layer.

To embellish my card I used Diamond Mesh by Mon Ami Gabby and pieces of pearls from Couture Swirls set by Want 2 Scrap.

Feature a creature - Stamping Sensation

As every first Sunday of the month it is time for a new challenge at the Stamping Sensation. This month the theme is Feature a creature. Stamping must be a focal element.

Our sponsor this month is 'be Creative!'. They have their own super range of design papers and coordinating embellishments plus so much more and you can brown their store here. News are new products are also on their Facebook where you will see some of the new products and you can also order from here.  They can also be seen regularly on Hochanda TV. The lucky winner will receive a surprise package of Be Creative products including some of their new embossing powders.

I made this card for my nephew's birthday. I used Sparkle N Sprinkle Wilson stamp set to stamp the birds to the white cardstock. Originally they look a bit sad so I masked off a part of their eyelid. They are colored with Promarkers. Blue bird was fussy cut with scissors. Speech bubbles are printed out and also fussy cut.

Background is stamped with stamp from Viva Decor - Brick & Wood, with Versamark ink to the White cardstock. I heat embossed the pattern with Caramel Embossing Powder and inked the paper with Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Inks.

Spellbinders Postage Stamp die was used to die cut a hole to the wood pattern panel. With paper trimmer I cut out a square from the Postage Stamp, to make a frame. Left over square was used to die cut out the number '10' with dies from MemoryBox Classic Numbers set.With same dies I die cutted four more set of numbers out of white cardstock. They all ware clued on top of each other.

To make the blue background behind the red bird I covered the bird with a mask. Then I inked all around him with Salty Ocean Distress Ink. Then I placed Want2ScrapClouds Stencil on top and spritzed it with Perfect Pearls Mist. I let the mist to soak in to the paper a bit and then dabbed it off with paper towel. This made the clouds a bit lighter then rest of the sky and gave it a shimmer also. To make the clouds pop out a bit better I used a White Gel Pen to draw a lines around them.

Glossy Accents was added on top of the numbers, birds peaks and some dots to the background.

These new samp sets are gorgeous! I used Wild Rose stamp set #785 on my today's card.

Sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Coffee Embossing powder. I die cutted this layer with Spellbinders Labels Four die and inked it while it was still in the die with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.

Flowers are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I used Promarkers to color them. Flowers was fussy cut and I left a narrow white border all around.

I used lots of layers of die cutted pattern papers. I used four different papers and many Spellbinders dies (Decorative Labels One, Labels One Small, Labels Eighteen, Labels Four Small) plus fussy cutting.

To embellish my card I added small white butterflies made with dies from Cheery Lynn Designs Mini Dimensional Butterflies set and added Gloss White Nuvo Crystal Drops dots to the butterflies and card layers.

All the pattern paper layers was adhered with foam tape.
I just noticed that this card was complitely glitter free... How did that happend?! Some glitter in the center of flowers would have been nice but I like it anyway.

The next stop on our blog hop is
Diane. She corrected my mistake and shares a stunning sparkling card.

Have Faith

Then I saw Sparkle N Sprinkle Nasturtium #1 stamp set #782, I knew I want to watercolor in. I used Digi version (DIGI782). Thanks to that I was able to make the image as large as I needed.

Flowers and sentiment was printed to the Watercolor cardstock. All the coloring was done with Distress Inks. I smudged the inks to an acrylic block and used it as a paint palette. Background is colored with Evergreen Bough, Cracked Pistachio and Spun Sugar. Flowers with Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber, and stem with Mowed Lawn Distress Inks. Stamens are covered with Sakura Glue Pen and Aqua Marine Glitter.
Little dots of Dimensional Glue was added around the image. This glue dries clear and holds the shape.

To decorate my cards I made a glittered ribbon from 1/4" and 1/2" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape. Tapes was covered with Bubble Gum Glitter.  wider tape was placed around the watercolored panel. I also made a fake bow from that. Bow tales was made from thinner tape. Center embellishment is from Mon Ami Gabby. It is a big mesh with silver flowers. I colored pars of it with Orange alcohol base marker and added Dimensional Glue on top.

To add some more sparkle to my card I made a striped glitter strip to the edge of the card. I adhered 1/4" Double Sided "Tear-ific" Tape to a cardstock and cut the protective sheet with x-acto knife. Then I peeled every other strip of protective layer and covered the tape with Aqua Marine Glitter. After the glitter was rubbed in good, I removed rest of the protective layer and covered tape with Bubble Gum Glitter.

Watercolored layer was popped up from the card base with foam tape. But before I did that I adhered a die cut strip, which was made with Die-Versions Loopy Lace die and colored with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink, under the left edge of the panel.
My watercolor panel was the same size as a card base. To make room for the glittered edge I had to cut one side off from the watercolored panel. This leftover piece was adhered to the card base. Can't let anything go waste. Then I draw a line to the both side of this strip with Sakura Glue Pen and added Bubble Gum Glitter on top.

It has been a long time since I made a masculine card. This month Sparkle N Sprinkle revealed many fantastic stampsets which are perfect for that.

I used digi version (DIGI778) from Gone Fishing stamp set.  Image with two fisherman and sentiment are merged and printed out. I die cut it with largest die from Spellbinders Floral Ovals set. After I inked the background with Broken China Distress Ink I covered it with Versamark ink and Super Thick Clear Embossing Powder. Then powder was melted with heating tool I added another coat EP and melted it again. I used the scissors to cut off all the fancy edge to leave only the pierced oval. Fun thing about Super Thick Clear EP is that you can crack it. I did it with mine focal image. Then I rubbed Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the cracks.

To make the card background I used a kraft paper. I spritzed it with water and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Crushed Shells). Then I crinkled it. After the paper was dry I inked the crinkles with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Paper was die cutted it with Spellbinders Pierced Rectangle die. Then I placed it in to the Sizzix embossing folder (Lattice) and run it through the die cutting machine. I used more Vintage Photo Distress Ink to bring out the raised parts of the embossing.

I added a narrow strip of white cardstock and a bit wider cardstock strip which was heat embossed with Blackened Bronze EP to add some more interest to the card background..

I also sprinkled Blackened Bronze EP to the kraft background and melted them with heat tool from underneath the paper. Some White Want 2 Scrap Sleek Strips Pearls was added to embellish the card.

Stamp Credits: Gone Fishing 778 (digi version DIGI778);
Embossing Powders: Super Thick Clear (EP230), Blackened Bronze (EP454);
Inks: VersamarkDistress Ink (Vintage Photo, Broken China);

EmbellishmentsWant 2 Scrap (Sleek Strips Pearls - White);
